Family Acro Jam We’re excited to open the space for a special Family Acro Jam — a playful and welcoming time for parents/guardians and their children to move and explore acroyoga together. Whether you’re trying new poses, revisiting favorites, or simply enjoying quality time with your kids and like-minded people, this jam is for you :) Of course, aunts/uncles/friends etc. are also welcome! Price is per adult, kids join for free. What's a jam? A jam is not a guided class, but an open practice space. There is no formal instruction — you train independently, at your own pace, and support each other as a community. Important: Children must be supervised by their parent or guardian at all times. You’re welcome to team up with other parents so you can take turns watching the kids and enjoy some practice time yourselves :) Some info about the space: · The practice room is covered with thick tatami mats perfect for rolling around. · Please bring what you need for your kids (diapers, toys, blankets). The studio is not "barrierefrei" (not wheel-chair accessible, there are steps to enter). · Stroller space is limited, so we recommend coming with a mobile carrier or bring a lock to leave the buggy outside. This session is designed specifically for families, while our regular jam remains adults only.

Welcome to our Open Level Acroyoga classes! The acroyoga we teach in these sessions is a playful mix of yoga, acrobatics, partner exercises and strengthening. We work on different poses and transitions each time. No partner needed! We work in teams of 3 or 4 anyway to ensure safety :) It is a multi-level class ranging from Beginner to Intermediate practitioners. Our goal is that you feel uplifted, joyful and empowered, so please come with an open mind-set, choose the level of exercise that feels good and try out new things in a supportive environment. We encourage you to switch roles to experience both the thrill of flying, the grounding feeling of being a base and being someone’s “safety net” by learning how to be a good spotter. Classes will take place every Thursday from 17:30-18:30 (60 minutes) and on Sundays from 15:00-16:00 at Loquaiplatz 11, 1060 Wien.

AcroYoga ist eine modernere Yoga-Art. AcroYoga existiert seit 2003 als eine Kombination aus Akrobatik, Yoga und NUAD (Thai Yoga Bodywork - passives Yoga). Diese 3 Disziplinen sind allein für sich genommen sehr umfangreich. Für das Erlernen einer davon braucht es ein ganzes Leben. In AcroYoga werden Prinzipien aus diesen 3 Traditionen miteinander kombiniert. Es wird meistens in einem Team aus 3 Personen Partner Akrobatik geübt (Flyer, Base und Spotter). So erlernen wir miteinander zu kommunizieren, sich gegenseitig zu unterstützen, und die Übungen als Team zu meistern. Wir lernen akrobatische Prinzipien wie Kontra-Balance, Zentrieren, Erden. Wir kombinieren diese mit Yoga Prinzipien wie Achtsamkeit, Leichtigkeit, Entspannung. Und geben dazu die Qualitäten aus dem Bodywork wie konstruktive Kommunikation (positives Feedback, None Violent Communication, etc.), Teamwork und das Anerkennen, Annehmen und Ausdehnen der eigenen Grenzen!
