We all experience anger, rage, and frustration. These emotions are powerful, uncomfortable, and deeply human — and they leave a real mark on our nervous system and well-being. But what if they could become doorways to greater self-understanding, empathy, and connection?

Drawing on neuroscience, stress physiology, mindfulness, and Nonviolent Communication, this 2-part series guides you from recognising and rechannelling anger within yourself, to transforming conflict in your relationships with others. Each session stands alone — attending both offers a deeper, more complete journey.

Part 1 – From Anger to Self-Compassion (June 20) Rechannelling stress and understanding our needs

Explore how your body and mind react to anger and frustration — including the mechanisms behind emotional hijacking and chronic stress. Through guided meditation, reflective journalling, visualisation, and gentle movement, you'll discover the unmet needs beneath your emotions and build practical tools for calming the nervous system and cultivating self-compassion.

Part 2 – From Anger to Compassion (July 4) Turning conflicts into opportunities

Take the journey outward — into your relationships and interactions with others. Learn how empathy, active listening, and an understanding of shared human needs can transform conflict into constructive dialogue. Drawing on neuroscience, metta meditation, and NVC tools, you'll leave with practical daily-life skills for co-regulation, connection, and compassionate communication.

Über

For me, yoga is about integrating mind, breath, and body – a way of remembering who we truly are in the balance between movement and stillness, effort and ease. My classes combine traditional yoga foundations with mindfulness, breathwork, and reflective journalling to create space for deep presence and integration. At Manas Studio, I teach yin classes combined with pranayama, restorative, and yang yoga classes, building on traditional and formal yoga practices while integrating gentle awareness techniques and breathing methods that support physical, spiritual and emotional well-being. These include mindfulness practices directed toward ourselves and others – cultivating kindness, gratitude, and compassion both on and off the mat As a teacher, my intention is to hold a safe, welcoming space where every student feels supported to explore their own inner teacher and unique journey.
